Proposed Next Amendment

The people of any state may initiate a public referendum for the express purpose of negating any law or treaty passed by the Legislative Branch; any regulation, order, or other such directive of the Executive Branch; or any ruling issued by the Judicial Branch. If such referendum receives a majority of those voting, the law, treaty, regulation, order, ruling, or other object of the referendum shall become null and void in the state passing the referendum. No agency of the Federal Government may take any action to circumvent, nullify, or otherwise modify the results of a successful referendum.
