• We are a full-service, full-time child care provider licensed by South Carolina Department of Social Services (http://www.state.sc.us/dss/cdclrs/index.html)

 

• We are certified as an enhanced ABC child care provider (http://www.state.sc.us/dss/abc/index.html)

 

• We are a Richland County First Steps Grant recipient for the years 2005 to 2011

 

• We use the WeeLearn™ Curriculum by Lifeway for infants through age 4.  Our after school program focuses on homework and grade level skills during the school year.  Our goal in the summer program is to prepare the children for the grade they will enter in the fall.

 

• Security:  All staff carry walkie-talkie radios while on duty.  All exterior doors to the Center are locked at all times when children are in the building.

 

• We check weather conditions and use the Child Care Weather Watch chart to determine when we can take children outside.  When weather prohibits outside activity, we use our full size gym.
